Coronavirus Covid 19 update to delivery options
We are offering Accepted at Delivery Point Service through DHL. This enables customers who would like to receive their delivery at home but are self-isolating and want minimal physical contact to accept parcels without physically signing for them. The driver will ask for their name and take a photo of the outside of the premises as proof of delivery
Upon receipt of an order Thread Tales customers will receive an email with a tracking number.

Please note we ship to the address provided by the customer. We are not responsible for lost or missing orders due to an incorrect shipping address. Shipments returned to Thread Tales may incur additional shipping fees to re-send.

Please note for all international shipments all customs and duties will be paid by the customer and are not included in the total amount charged by Thread Tales at checkout.
The Customs Authority in the customer’s country assesses the fees and unfortunately, we cannot estimate these costs in advance. We advise you contact your local customs office for current charges before placing an order.
Made to order items
For Made to order items we will notify you once the item is made. It takes from 2-12 weeks depending on the availability of the best quality of the raw material. We aim to be a sustainable business, which means we don’t use fibres grown with pesticides and we harvest the raw material only when in season. This can limit our productivity but makes your garment all the more rare and precious.
Thread Tales partners are based in a workshop on the Inle Lakes. The journey from their hands to yours is a long one. It can take 7-10 days to deliver your finished piece.
Returns and Exchanges
Thread Tales aim for all our customers to be happy with the quality and overall experience of purchasing a product with us.
Please note your garment has been handmade with exceptional skill by master weavers on traditional handlooms. Each garment is unique. This is the beauty of the design and any slubs in the fabric are part of its natural charm.
If however you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return the unworn, unwashed item in its original packaging with the tags attached within 14 days of receipt for a full refund minus any shipping charges. If the reason for your return is that you are claiming the item you received was already in a damaged condition you must notify us within 7 days of receipt.

No refund can be processed without the return form fully completed and included in the return package.
We aim to process all returns within 7 days of receipt of the returned goods. All refunds will be issued to the same credit card or PayPal account used to make the purchase.
Please allow 2 weeks from the return date of your package for your account to be credited.
NOTE - We are unable to acept returns for any item which has been personalised.
If you would like to exchange your full priced item/items for something else you may do so subject to availability. Please identify if you would like a return or an exchange on your email.
