One Of A Kind
Amongst the auction pieces:
AUCTION LOT #1
The Inle Heritage Ikat Shawl
The story of this piece started with the idea of experimenting with Ikat techniques traditionally made in silk. Through a collaboration with the weavers in our workshops on the Inle Lakes in Myanmar, we worked our signature Lotus into the design concept. The result is a beautiful broken strata of colour and texture in shades of azure blues.
AUCTION LOT #2
Spiritual Lotus Blanket
Designed to use as a meditation blanket or a comforting shawl, this piece celebrates the spirit of the sacred Lotus fabric. Using a meditation shawl or wrap is a great way to feel warmer and more content whilst meditating or relaxing. The shawl symbolises your temporary isolation from the outer world. It provides a sense of serene comfort and helps to intensify your concentration, with the idea of bringing an even more sacred experience to your daily practice.
Hand embroidered with the words “Inhale, Exhale”. Soft Comforting luxury is achieved by combining the sacred lotus fabric, which is warm and breathable and almost wrinkle free with hard-wearing, soft, organic cotton.
AUCTION LOT #18
Nepalese Jungle Striped Wrap
A contemporary, exotic Nepalese jungle print from a hand painted, original artwork. Framed with vertical, graphic stripes, bright, saturated colours are grounded by charcoal grey. Digitally printed on super-fine certified cashmere for a luxury, tactile softness and eco-friendly printing method.
The story behind it:
Nepalese jungle print inspired by Olaf Hajek, combining an eclectic mix of native flora, fauna, butterflies and tigers. Tibetan masks are woven into the design to mark the cultural links to the brand. Masks are traditionally used by Tibetan Buddhists as a means to transform identity. When the masked actors perform, they whirl around in an allegorical dance depicting the victory of Buddhism over negative powers and demons.
